With cancer being our No. 1 killer and because three out of ten Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, chances are we will all be affected, directly or indirectly.

Pubsclubs is planning an event to be held later this year across many pubs and clubs involving Australian owned businesses, promoting Australian made products, supporting all Australians in the future, with 100% of proceeds going directly to cancer research.

Oxfam Trailwalker 100km

This year, 500 teams of four participants each, will walk 100km on the weekend of 29-31 August starting at Brooklyn, finishing at Mosman.

Oxfam is Australia’s leading agency working with communities around the world for solutions to poverty and social injustice.

Happy Home Orphanage, Chitwan, Nepal

“Having been exposed to the stark difference in the quality of life of the Nepalese people during an expedition in 2007 to participate in the Everest Marathon, I decided to support fellow competitor Alan Heaton’s efforts in helping the orphaned children of Nepal. Pubsclubs will be donating a percentage of all revenue raised from Pubsclubs Consultancy this year, up to $50,000 to this very worthwhile cause.”
